Trader Personal Settings & Copy Trading Guide (PC)

This guide provides BYDFi PC version traders with instructions on setting up their accounts and managing copy trading, helping them optimize their trading experience.
Trader Personal Settings
Once approved as a trader, click Copy on the homepage to access the copy trading page
Click on My Lead Trades
Under Personal Settings, configure the necessary copy trading settings
Increase Account Equity to Gain More Followers
Traders can increase their copy trading account balance to unlock a higher maximum number of followers. The minimum required balance is 100 USDT

Once personal settings are completed, you can Initiate Trades
Note: Currently, copy trading must be conducted in hedge mode
How to Initiate Copy Trading
Traders can initiate copy trading using the following methods:
From the Copy Trading Homepage Click Initiate Trade
From the Contract Trading Page Open a position using the Copy Trading Wallet (this will automatically start copy trading)
Once copy trading is activated, you can check position details in:
My Lead Trades for personal positions
Lead Position on the contract trading page
- My Lead Trades only displays the trader’s personal position data (excluding follower trades)
- Each newly opened copy trade position is separately listed under Lead Position
- Liquidation price is not displayed in Current Copy Trades
- All positions in the same direction within the same account are consolidated under “Positions” in the contract trading section
Setting Take Profit & Stop Loss
Traders can set Take Profit and Stop Loss for copy trades in Positions or Lead Positions on the contract trading page
Closing Copy Trading Positions
Traders can close copy trading positions through Positions or Lead Positions on the contract trading page
- Only market orders can be used to close leading trades
- Trailing Stop and Limit Orders are not supported for closing leading trades
Check Copy Trading Data
Go to My Lead Trades on the Copy Trading homepage to view: Current Copy Trades, Copy Trade History, My Followers, Copy Trading Details, Profit Sharing Data, Personal Settings, Copy Trading Information
Check Profit-Sharing Data
Traders can check profit-sharing details under My Copy Trades → Profit-Sharing Data
- Settled Profit (USDT): Total profit-sharing amount already distributed to the trader
- Pending Profit (USDT): Profit-sharing amount accumulated from closed profitable trades but not yet settled. This value may fluctuate depending on follower trade outcomes
Managing Followers
Traders can view all active followers in My Lead Trades → My Followers
- Remove a Follower
- Removing a follower only prevents them from copying new trades. Existing open trades will remain unaffected and will follow the trader's closing actions
