I'm having trouble getting my limit orders filled on Bitmex. What strategies can I use to increase the chances of my limit order getting filled?

- Dec 16, 2021 · 3 years agoOne strategy you can use to ensure your limit order gets filled on Bitmex is to set a more competitive price. If your limit order is not getting filled, it could be because the price you set is not attractive enough to buyers or sellers. Try adjusting your limit price closer to the current market price to increase the chances of your order getting filled.
- Dec 16, 2021 · 3 years agoAnother strategy is to use market orders instead of limit orders. Market orders are executed immediately at the best available price, ensuring that your order gets filled. However, keep in mind that market orders may result in slippage, where you may end up buying or selling at a slightly different price than expected.
- Dec 16, 2021 · 3 years agoAt BYDFi, we recommend using advanced order types such as stop-limit orders or iceberg orders. These order types can help you increase the chances of your limit order getting filled. Stop-limit orders allow you to set a stop price and a limit price, ensuring that your order is only executed when the market reaches a certain price. Iceberg orders allow you to hide the full size of your order, preventing other traders from seeing the entire order and potentially front-running it.
