- Dec 17, 2021 · 3 years agoThe current maximum supply of Bitcoin is 21 million coins. This limit was set by the creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, in the original Bitcoin whitepaper. As of now, around 18.7 million Bitcoins have been mined, leaving approximately 2.3 million left to be mined. Once all 21 million Bitcoins have been mined, no more new Bitcoins will be created.
- Dec 17, 2021 · 3 years agoHey there! The maximum supply of Bitcoin is 21 million coins. It's like a limited edition digital currency. Once all the 21 million coins are mined, that's it! No more new Bitcoins will be created. So, it's a scarce asset, which is one of the reasons why many people find it valuable.
- Dec 17, 2021 · 3 years agoAccording to the current information available, the maximum supply of Bitcoin is 21 million coins. This limit was put in place to create scarcity and prevent inflation. It's important to note that the rate at which new Bitcoins are created decreases over time due to the halving events that occur approximately every four years. This means that the remaining Bitcoins will be mined at a slower pace, making them even more valuable in the future.
