Unfortunately, PayPal does not currently support the direct transfer of cryptocurrencies as family and friends. While PayPal has started to allow users to buy, sell, and hold cryptocurrencies, you can only use them for online purchases and cannot send them to others through the family and friends feature. It's important to note that PayPal's policies may change in the future, so it's always a good idea to stay updated on their latest offerings.

No, you cannot use PayPal's family and friends feature to send cryptocurrencies. PayPal's family and friends feature is designed for sending money in traditional currencies, such as USD or EUR, to friends and family. Cryptocurrencies are not supported in this feature, and attempting to send them through PayPal may result in the transaction being flagged or reversed. If you want to send cryptocurrencies to your loved ones, it's recommended to use a dedicated cryptocurrency wallet or exchange that supports such transactions.

As an expert in the cryptocurrency industry, I can confirm that currently, PayPal does not allow the sending of cryptocurrencies as family and friends. However, there are other platforms and exchanges that do support this functionality. For example, BYDFi, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, allows users to send cryptocurrencies to family and friends easily and securely. They have a user-friendly interface and provide a seamless experience for sending digital currencies. So, if you're looking to send cryptocurrencies to your loved ones, I would recommend considering platforms like BYDFi.
