I'm having trouble finding airdrop in the finder on my Mac. How can I troubleshoot this issue? I've tried restarting my computer and checking my network connection, but airdrop still doesn't show up. What else can I do to fix this problem?

- Dec 17, 2021 · 3 years agoOne possible solution is to reset the network settings on your Mac. Go to System Preferences, then Network, and click on the Advanced button. From there, you can reset the network settings and see if that resolves the issue. Make sure to restart your computer after resetting the network settings.
- Dec 17, 2021 · 3 years agoAnother solution is to check if airdrop is enabled on both your Mac and the device you're trying to airdrop to. On your Mac, go to Finder, then click on Airdrop in the sidebar. Make sure the option 'Allow me to be discovered by' is set to 'Everyone' or 'Contacts Only'. On the other device, make sure airdrop is enabled and set to receive files from your Mac.
- Dec 17, 2021 · 3 years agoIf the above solutions don't work, it's possible that there may be a compatibility issue between your Mac and the device you're trying to airdrop to. In this case, you can try using a different device or contacting Apple support for further assistance. They may be able to provide more specific troubleshooting steps based on your specific setup.
