- Nov 28, 2021 · 3 years agoNo, CashApp requires both the sender and the recipient to have a CashApp account in order to send Bitcoin. This is because CashApp acts as a custodial wallet, meaning that they hold the private keys to the Bitcoin. Without a CashApp account, the recipient would not have access to the private keys and therefore cannot receive the Bitcoin.
- Nov 28, 2021 · 3 years agoUnfortunately, you cannot send Bitcoin to someone without a CashApp account using CashApp. CashApp is designed to facilitate transactions between CashApp users, and both parties need to have a CashApp account to send and receive Bitcoin. If the recipient doesn't have a CashApp account, they won't be able to receive the Bitcoin.
- Nov 28, 2021 · 3 years agoWhile CashApp does not allow you to send Bitcoin to someone without a CashApp account, there are other options available. For example, you can use a non-custodial wallet like BYDFi to send Bitcoin to anyone, regardless of whether they have a BYDFi account or not. Non-custodial wallets give you full control over your private keys, allowing you to send Bitcoin to any address you choose.
