It represents the Kaspa (KAS) digital currency in the form of an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network. The primary goal of Wrapped Kaspa is to facilitate integration and interaction with Ethereum's decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. Each Wrapped Kaspa token is equivalent to one Kaspa, enabling seamless value transfer between the two blockchains and enabling users to leverage the advantages of both networks. The balance between wKAS and KAS is maintained by Chainge, a trusted custodian, who holds the required reserve of KAS.
