The project is unique because it draws inspiration from the non-playable character meme and creates an ERC20 token with a supply equal to the total human population as recorded on July 26, 2023. Each token can also be converted into an NFT at a 1:1 ratio. This makes it a meme fungible token (MFT) that can be traded on decentralized exchanges like Uniswap as an ERC20 and on NFT marketplaces as an ERC1155, bridging two separate liquidity markets.

The project's website allows users to switch between the two formats using the dApp. Users can "respawn" as an NFT or "transform" into a meme coin. However, the most liquid form for trading is as an ERC20 token.
