What Is Syntropy (NOIA)?
Syntropy aims to address various issues in the current Internet framework, such as security, privacy, governance, performance, reliability, and inefficient resource utilization. The NOIA token was launched on January 5, 2020, while Syntropynet was established in 2017.
As technology continues to decentralize rapidly, the public Internet still plays a crucial role in connecting and facilitating communication. However, the Internet today is highly centralized, hindering the true democratization of technology. Syntropy decentralizes the core of the Internet while maintaining compatibility with existing protocols. This results in a safer and faster Internet experience, enabling true decentralization.
The NOIA token serves as the "gas" that enables connections and data transfers across the Syntropy network. As a Layer 1 technology, NOIA represents the overall value of information exchanged within the Web3 ecosystem. It establishes the initial financial incentives for the network's creation and operation by the user community.
All connections and data transmitted through any device are quantified in tokens. Therefore, the token represents the value derived from an Internet relay and its intrinsic value within the economy.
