Alias (ALIAS) is a privacy-focused cryptocurrency that utilizes an energy-efficient proof-of-stake algorithm. It offers fast transaction confirmations, ring signatures for privacy and anonymity, and a built-in Tor+OBFS4 layer for IP obfuscation within the wallet. On May 17, 2019, the Alias team implemented the Alias V3 hard-fork, introducing 'Proof-of-Anonymous-Stake' (PoAS), also known as 'Stealth Staking'. Anonymous staking is now available. Alias is actively developed and has a roadmap that prioritizes privacy, security, and decentralization. Some of its upcoming features include default stealth addresses, stealth staking, and low-power mobile wallet staking in their new Android wallet.
